Extremely flexible, PondGard EPDM rubber liners adapt very well to the irregular
shapes of decorative ponds.
Pond builders appreciate its ability to conform to the shelves
needed for plant containers.
PondGard EPDM from Firestone combines flexibility and durability
for ease of installation that makes it a material of choice for
homeowners, landscapers and hobbyists.
When finished, your pond will have a "natural" look.
Our rubber liners are UV Stabilized and are impervious to extremes
of temperature (-40° to 175°).
It will remain flexible in all conditions without cracking or blistering.
Its expected life is over 30 years when fully exposed to the sun.
EPDM weighs 28 pounds per 100 sq. ft.
Shipping cost
is not included in the price of EPDM.
Small liners (up to 150 lbs.) can be ordered on-line and are shipped by UPS.
You will be charged the actual UPS shipping charge plus $5.00 handling.
The normal retail shipping charge schedule does not apply to liners.

Large liners, above 150 pounds, are
shipped by common carrier and must be ordered by phone.
Your freight cost will be
actual freight charges plus $10.00 via common carrier (Yellow Freight,
Conway, etc.).
The shipping usually costs from $65 to $200.
Delivery time is 5-12 working days.
Someone must be there to accept delivery.
Please inspect your liner before signing the freight bill.
Most common carriers will not help with unloading.
You will need to supply manpower and equipment to unload these rolls.
They are usually 8 to 10 feet long, 16 to 24 inches in diameter and can
weigh 150 to 750 pounds or more.

Repair Seam Tape
Joining two pieces of EPDM for waterfalls, odd shaped ponds
or repairing holes and tears can be easily done using 3" double
sided adhesive seam tape and primer.
A clean, dry and primed surface is all that is required for a
waterproof result.
The tape can be purchased by the foot or by the roll.

Polyethylene Liner and Repair Tape
Polyethylene Pond Liner
Polyethylene liners are ideal for both small and large applications
from a small backyard pond to the largest containment ponds.
It won't crack like concrete and you can be sure of success
the first time, unlike using bentonite or clay fillers.
We offer Polyethylene liners in the following thicknesses
(see chart below for weights and longevity ratings).
- 20 Mil - A strong and economical
material that is ideal for medium to large water gardens.
- 30 Mil - 50% thicker than 20 Mil, very strong and
puncture resistant. Recommended for most ponds.
- 40 Mil - Our "bulletproof" liner, an extremely
strong and long lived product due to its rigidity and thickness.
Recommended for larger ponds.

- SHIPPING -
All Polyethylene liners over 1,000 square feet are shipped FREIGHT FREE
in the Continental United States.
For liners under 1,000 square feet, there is a small handling fee of $35.00.
Orders to Hawaii and Alaska please call for freight quotes.
Someone must be present to inspect and accept delivery when delivered
by commercial trucking lines.
Shipping to a commercial site with equipment for unloading the liner is recommended
to allow room for the delivery truck to unload.
- UPON ARRIVAL -
Larger liners will come banded onto a wooden pallet with a protective covering.
Be prepared to help unload the shipment.
Unless your pond site is easily accessible, the trucking company
will not bring the liner to the site.
Be careful not to drag the liner once it is off the pallet or during installation.
- SITE PREP -
The excavated area should be smooth with NO sharp rocks or debris exposed.
A layer of sand or Geotextile
should be placed under
the liner if outcroppings or sharp rocks can't be removed.
Regard this step as insurance for your liner.
If you plan to cover your liner with rock, gravel or plant containers, our Geotextile
material should be used on top of the liner.

Polyethylene Repair Tape
Fabrication Tape is a 2" wide adhesive tape formulated for Polyethylene
repair.
This strong double sided tape comes in 30' rolls and can be cut with
a knife or scissors.
It will adhere to almost any surface (steel, wood, concrete, etc.) that
is clean and dry.
If you want to customize your pond with a waterfall, this product
will join the two pieces.
Do not use "Fab" Tape to seam liners below the water level.
Fab Tape works best when it is pre-warmed.
To pre-warm the tape, put it in your oven at 150° for a half hour.

Geotextile Fabric
Geotextile fabric is an underlayment that is used to pad your pond liner
and protect it from being punctured by rocks or other sharp objects underneath the liner.
It is a puncture resistant, extremely durable product.
Made of continuous filaments, it has the look and feel of a wool blanket.
As padding, geotextile is much better than sand.
It will not sluff off steep sides or move around when walked on.
- Puncture and UV resistant
- Long lasting, tough and economical
- Works on steep slopes where sand will slide
- Easier to apply than sand
