1/4" Fittings

These tools are used for making a precise hole in mainline tubing to install emitters or transfer barbs. When using a manual punch, squeeze the sides of the tubing with your hand and push on the punch while giving a slight twist. You will usually hear a pop. Because heat will soften the tubing, it is easier to punch holes at cooler times of the day, or by running cold water through the tubing first.

Yellow Handle Punch

One of the best manual punches available. It is comfortable to use and makes a clean hole. Use for 1/4" fittings and Tape Loc fittings. The other end has a nut driver for inserting Mini-Jets. This punch can be sharpened with a grinding wheel.

Miracle Punch

This punch works like a staple gun. Slip the 1/2" or 3/4" tubing completely into the channel and squeeze the handle until you hear the pop. It punches clean holes quickly and easily! This punch can make a big job much easier and is quite popular with landscapers and commercial growers.

Aluminum Punch

This aluminum punch is really quick and easy to use. It is long-lived and the end of it can be used to push larger emitters, such as Woodpeckers, into the tubing.
