The Weathermatic SmartLine® timer is a feature rich controller
that can help you save water and money.
It comes with 4 stations but you can add up to 4 more with reasonably priced
2 station modules.
There is also an optional on-site weather station available to provide
the ultimate in weather-based irrigation control with the timer's Auto Adjust mode.
Among the special features that this timer provides are:

2 Station Module
The 2 Station module allows you to add two more stations
to your SmartLine controller.
These are "hot-swap" modules which means you can replace
them without powering down the controller.
You can add up to two of these modules to your controller
to give you a maximum of 8 stations.
Weather Station
Adding the Weather Station opens up the full functionality
of the SmartLine controller.
It can save 20 to 50% on annual water usage by automatically
adjusting watering times for each zone 365 days a year
(and 366 days in a leap year!) using on-site, real time weather data.
The Auto Adjust feature of the controller uses the data
from the Weather Station to set the run times for the valves.
You can also set up a rain shut-off at from 1/8" to 1".
The unit has a freeze sensor that will shut down the system
when the temperature reaches 37° to automatically protect the system
from freezing.
